Lyric Stage Presents Mirette

My love of the theatre started when I saw my first show with my dad back in high school. I knew that when I had kids, that I wanted to share that love with them as well. I took Adalyn to see her first show, Finding Neverland, when she was just four years old and [...]

If you are looking for the coolest and most magical toy store experience, look no further than @campstores in Dallas. I have wanted to visit ever since they opened after learning about them first in New York City. You enter in a beautifully curated light and modern space, but with a little magic (thanks to some awesome employees), you are transported through a secret entrance into an interactive shopping and playing adventure! Charlotte’s reaction was priceless! Don’t tell your kids the secret, just tell walk in and tell them you’ve never been there before and watch the magic happen before your eyes! I can’t wait to take Adalyn!
Today me and this little cutie got to attend the media kick-off event for Dallas Blooms at @thedallasarboretum. If you haven’t ever been, I highly recommend you go! It is absolutely gorgeous and is constantly changing as the different types of flowers bloom. The cherry blossoms will be blooming soon too and they are spectacular! Today we also explored the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden, so if you have kids, this is a must see! There are so many activities for them to see and do. Bring your camera, a blanket and the entire family. It’s one of my favorite spots in the Dallas area!
Today we took advantage of the gorgeous weather to go exploring at the @heardmuseum_connectwithnature, then we grabbed lunch at @theyardmckinneytx. Such a great day!
Today me and Charlotte got out and enjoyed some sunshine at @prestontrailfarms. It’s one of our favorite local places to explore and feed the farm animals.
Yesterday me and Adalyn went back to @rhealanasoffrisco for their half-price sale! We found some incredible deals. Everything pictured was under $200 total. The sale opens again today at 10am, so there is still time to snag some great deals for your kiddos! #rhealanas #rhealanasoffrisco #rhealanasfinds
Today is @hall.jeff.t ‘s birthday, and while it started out with no power or water, it ended up with family snow fun, neighborhood sled rides, the power on and HOT showers! It turned out to be a great day considering the circumstances! @theyardmckinneytx
This little dude refuses to come inside and only wants to stay outside and eat snow and ice. I don’t think he got the memo that he’s not a sled dog.🤦🏻‍♀️ @theyardmckinneytx
When the power is out for the 463,298th time and you’re trying not to go crazy, you break out the board games! Thank you @rhealanasoffrisco for the awesome deal on this game!

We are still trying to thaw out from today’s adventures in the snow. It has me longing for warmer temps, hot water and consistent power! We Texans are definitely not equiped for this kind of weather!
I am over the rolling blackouts since 2am and single-digit temps, but at least the sun came out and it’s gorgeous outside!
